State Director of Umpiring Resignation

Softball WA wishes to advise that Mr Jamie McLean has tendered his resignation as the Softball WA State Director of Umpiring.

Mr McLean advised, “due to increased work load and some personal circumstances I am unable to dedicate the time and resources needed to service the position of SDU. I am grateful for the opportunity and assistance given to me.  I look forward to continuing to Umpire on the diamond, whilst still offering my services in an off-field capacity, where ever the opportunity arises. Particularly with the newly formed SWA Umpires Association.”

Softball WA, Chief Executive Officer, Russ Clark thanked Mr McLean for the time and effort he dedicated to the role during his tenure and wished Mr McLean all the very best going forwards.

“Jamie is one of our more senior umpires here in WA and we look forward to his continued involvement both on and off the diamond and with the SWA Umpires Association”, Clark said.

Mr Clark advised that expressions of interest will be called Monday 26th August and closing on Friday 30th August.
