Covid-19 Update: January 17th 2022

Following on from the latest Covid-19 information in WA, please see the following Covid precautions that will be in place for the Perth/Peel Softball Associations, Club’s, Members, and Spectators until further updates are provided:
Effective of 6 pm Sunday the 16th of January, Mask-wearing is now mandatory at all public indoor settings in Perth and Peel region.
- All members and spectators will be required to wear masks in changerooms and anytime they are inside clubrooms.
- It is highly recommended that members and spectator’s check-in using the SafeWA app or ServiceWA app or by leaving contact details on a contact register. Associations and Clubs should notify their members where they are able to check in at their facility.
- Players are encouraged to not share drink bottles, and it is recommended that players supply their own water.
- Hands should be sanitised regularly, especially before all food and drink consumption.
Community sports events are currently excluded from the proof of vaccination requirement. It is therefore not mandatory to be double vaccinated to play community sport currently.
