Suiside Fastpitch Club Growing the Game of Softball in Geraldton

Softball WA would like to highlight the fantastic work Suiside Fastpitch Club are currently working on to grow the game of Softball in Geraldton. In partnership with Softball Australia, Softball WA, and Geraldton Grammar School. Suiside Fastpitch Club hosted an after-school Softball Batter-Up Program with 29 Participants. The program which will run for 4 weeks, commenced on the 30th of August and is available to boys and girls aged 4-9 years old.
The Softball Batter-Up activities align with the national health and physical education curriculum with Suiside promoting a fun and inclusive environment for all. Participants received a Softball Batter-Up starter pack (bag, bat, and a ball) with their registration.
Suiside Fastpitch Club is the first club in Australia to run a Softball Batter-Up and Softball WA are very proud of their achievement. Softball WA would like to congratulate the club and the coaches; Jo, Sharron, Sue, Alice, Tyler, Jy and Kerri for facilitating the program.
