On Wednesday 25 March 2020 the Softball Western Australia Board met to discuss our response to the current COVID19 crisis that the world is facing.

As a result of that meeting, Softball WA will enter caretaker mode effective immediately, whilst the current crisis continues to mould the future of everyday living.

We as a board, will continue to monitor the pandemic and as soon as we can return to normality we will commence the process of recovery.

As at 4.00pm today (27 March 2020) Softball WA will close its doors until further notice. The telephones will not be answered, nor will there be a physical presence of anyone in the office during normal business hours. If you need to contact Softball WA please email your request to

The current pandemic is unprecedented. We are unable to advise you when we will return to normality as a sport however, we are doing the very best we can in some very trying circumstances.

If any club needs assistance through this crisis please let us know and we will endeavour to assist you.

During this crisis please look out for each other. A simple phone call can make a big difference for some people. If you are feeling alone and need someone to talk to please reach out, we are all in this together.

The board of Softball WA appreciate your support through this crisis and together we look forward to growing the game of softball once we get through the current crisis.
